A fun, free, high quality choir for young people in East Bristol aged 6-12. Meeting at St Aidan’s Church in St George’s every week during term time, Wednesdays 6-7pm. New term starts September 10th, 2025.
Singing together has been scientifically proven to boost well-being, reduce anxiety and help us connect with ourselves and each other better. Expect creativity, community and growing in confidence whilst having lots of fun. We offer a mix of singing popular and show tunes and sacred choral music.

Who is this choir for?
Any child between 6-12 years old with an interest in music or singing. No audition needed. Being based in a church, learning sacred choral singing is part of the choir, we offer a mixed repertoire, with show and popular tunes, aswell as church sacred music. Open to children of any faith or none.
When are the choir sessions?
Sessions run on Wednesday’s after school, from 6-7pm, during term time. The new term starts September 10th, 2025.
What is the repertoire?
It’s a mixed repertoire mixing popular and show tunes and sacred (church) choral music. It’s a 50/50 mix, offering a varied choir experience.
Do I need to book?
Spaces are on a first come first served basis, you can register your child here. If you are on the waiting list you will be notified when a spot becomes available.
How much does this cost?
FREE! There is no cost for this choir. Occasionally we may offer choir t-shirts or hoodies for concerts and there may be a cost involved. Bursaries for those will be available.
Who is offering this choir?
This choir is jointly supported by One Equal Music and by the Diocese of Bristol’s Pioneer in Schools. It is hosted by St Aidan’s church, and is led by an experienced professional children’s choir director.

Can I leave my child there?
Yes. The choir is staffed by DBS-checked volunteers, paid choir director and supervised in line with Government childcare ratios.
